Crispy Poha Vada
Soak handful or nearly half cup channa dal in water for 2-3 hours.
Take 1 cup poha
Soak in water for 10 minutes
Squeeze the water.
Take two green chillies
1/2 inch ginger piece
1/4 cup Pudina
1/4 cup coriander
1/4 cup totakoora ( optional)
1/2 cup finely chopped onions
1 tbs. jeera
1 tbs Sesame seeds
Salt to taste.
Grind coarsely channa dal, green chillies, ginger coarsely in a grinder, without adding water.
Take it into a wide bowl
Add, coriander, pudina, sesame seeds, salt, jeera and mix well
Now make them into equal size balls
Take a pan and heat enough oil
Slowly drop the vada (flatten the round balls)into the oil
Take out golden brown and serve hot with any chutney .
Caution: no need to add water while grinding,
