
Sprouts salad
- Green gram sprouts
- Soak green gram 1 cup in water for 8 hours.
- Drain the water completely and tie them in a white muslin cloth or sprout maker.
- This salad can be made either raw or half boiled.
Ingredients:
- Onions (Optional), carrots, capsicum, tomato
- Lemon juice
- Pepper
- Salt to taste
- Coriander for decoration
Method:
- Sauté the finely cut vegetables in a pan with little olive oil and Jeera(Cumin seeds).
- Add the half boiled sprouts, and mix well.
- Add salt, pepper, lemon juice and Coriander leaves.
- Mix well and transfer into a bowl.
- This is a very healthy snack.
- This can also be eaten raw with all the finely cut vegetables, salt, pepper, coriander and a 1 spoon lemon juice.
- This helps in avoiding gas related problems.
