Sprouts salad

  • Green gram sprouts
  • Soak green gram 1 cup in water for 8 hours.
  • Drain the water completely and tie them in a white muslin cloth or sprout maker.
  • This salad can be made either raw or half boiled.

Ingredients:

  • Onions (Optional), carrots, capsicum, tomato
  • Lemon juice
  • Pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • Coriander for decoration

Method:

  • Sauté the finely cut vegetables in a pan with little olive oil and Jeera(Cumin seeds).
  • Add the half boiled sprouts, and mix well.
  • Add salt, pepper, lemon juice and Coriander leaves.
  • Mix well and transfer into a bowl.
  • This is a very healthy snack.
  • This can also be eaten raw with all the finely cut vegetables, salt, pepper, coriander and a 1 spoon lemon juice.
  • This helps in avoiding gas related problems.
