
Red Chilli Chutney
Ingredients:
Fresh red chillies – Cut into small pieces 200gms
Bengal gram/Channa dal seeds – 1 tablespoon
Split black gram / urad dal – 1 teaspoon
Coriander seeds – Half teaspoon
Tamarind – Small ball size
Jaggery – Small ball size
Fenugreek seeds – Quarter teaspoon
Oil -1 teaspoon
Salt to taste
Method:
1) Take a pan and add a little oil.
2) Now add the freshly cut red chillies ,
3) Bengali gram, black gram seeds,for few minutes
4) Add coriander seeds, methi, jaggery, tamarind.
5) Add salt . Fry them for few minutes until the raw smell of the chillies evaporates.
6) Now switch off the stove, allow it cool.
7) Grind in a mixer.
Now season it with mustard seeds, hing , curry leaves
