Kootu With Coconut

Kootu with coconut

1 big bowl. Bottle gourd ( cut into one inch piece )
1 /4 bowl. Moong dal

Masala
2 tbsp. coconut powder
1 tbsp. coriander seeds
1/4 tbsp. jeera
10 -12. Pepper corn
Make it into a paste by adding sufficient water .

Pressure cook the dal and bottle gourd for 2 whistles,
Add the masala paste,salt, turmeric and red chilli powder
Season with mustard seeds,jeera red chillies, hing and curry leaves.
