Rice rawa Upma
1 cup. Rice rawa
1/2 cup. Moong dal( soak for half an hour )
1/2 cup. Fresh grated coconut
5-6 Green chillies
1 inch. Ginger
Salt
Seasoning
1 tbsp. urad dal
1/2 tbsp. mustard seeds
1/2tbsp. Jeera
Hing
Curry leaves
Method
Take a pan, add the seasoning , after they splutter, add the soaked moong dal, and add 3 glasses of water. After the water starts boiling, add salt and fresh coconut, rice rawa and allow it cook slowly . Cover the pan with a lid. After about 15 minuets, check if it is fully cooked.
Note
Water can be reduced depending upon the rawa.
This is very healthy and tasty and can be eaten with coconut chutney or tomato chutney.
Baingan bartha also goes well with this.
